Where's Waldo (or how you might know it as "Where's Wally") was an extremely important part of my childhood, influencing my artistic career and drive for learning. I loved how innovative the books were and how much fun it was to unpack each spread, finding every silly pun and overlooked detail in the mess of characters. Recently I've come back to love this series, and I even created a video essay about the way that Handford crafted such an interesting and creative book for children. I plan to do more research about Wally, perhaps collecting more of the issues and any accomponying paraphanelia.
